The Android 8.0 “Oreo” operating system is the most recent version of the Android smartphone operating system. It was originally made available to developers as an alpha grade developer preview in March 2017 before being made available to the general public on August 21, 2017.
Notification grouping, picture-in-picture support for video, speed enhancements and energy consumption optimization, support for auto fills, Bluetooth 5, system-level integration with VoIP applications, broad color gamuts, and Wi-Fi Aware are just a few of the highlights. AOSP Extended is an AOSP-based ROM that includes the Substratum theme engine and a stock UI/UX with several customization tools. The project was put together by cherry-picking commits from a variety of different projects. Because it’s built on AOSP, it’s smooth and lag-free right out of the box.

3. Cypher Operating System

4. Nitrogen Operating System
Another Custom ROM based on Android Oreo with a ton of stock Android features. Initially, it was exclusively available for Nexus smartphones, but developers eventually expanded it to include other Android devices.

Oxygen OS is a modified version of the Android mobile operating system built particularly for OnePlus handsets. OxygenOS was created for the international market. HydrogenOS, a version of the OS intended exclusively for the Chinese home market, is also available.

Unlegacy Android was developed as a result of this evolution, which now supports more than just these devices while still maintaining its origins in supporting “legacy” devices that no longer get “official” upgrades.
The purpose of this organization is not to build feature-rich ROMs, but rather to establish a basic ROM that custom ROM developers may readily adapt to changes.
